What is bensonhurst history?

Bensonhurst is a neighborhood in southwestern Brooklyn, New York City, with a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s. The area was originally settled by Italian immigrants who worked in the garment and construction industries, as well as Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe.
